The Seu Vella Cathedral in Lleida provided the beautiful setting for the presentation of the Tsawa Foundation, in a deeply inspiring event.
The evening, hosted by Mercè Carbonell, began with a welcome address by Montserrat Parra, Director of Territorial Services in Lleida for the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia. We thank Montserrat Parra for her dedication and interest, which made it possible for the Tsawa Foundation to be presented in this city.
Her remarks were followed by a speech from Carles Noguera, Ph.D, President of the Foundation, who shared Tsawa’s vision and purpose of building a better world through the expansion of consciousness.
Following this, Javier García Campayo, Ph.D, and Lama Yeshe Chödrön gave engaging and enriching presentations on neuroscience and contemplative traditions. We sincerely thank them for making time in their busy schedules to join us for this significant event.
The gathering concluded with a pleasant reception where we had the opportunity to exchange ideas, further cultivate existing relationships, and forge new connections with people who had traveled from various parts of Spain.
