In a world being radically redefined by artificial intelligence and other technologies, the pressing question is: what place does humanity want to occupy in this new scenario?
We are living through a decisive moment. Next-generation artificial intelligence has exacerbated the trends that have been growing since the so-called “information age” begun. Revolutionary technology is no longer a future promise. It has arrived and it is transforming every aspect of our lives: work, production models, leisure, how we think, and how we relate to one another. Therefore, the real challenge is not technological, but deeply human.
How can we be sure that this supposed progress serves well-being, consciousness, and quality of life? What values should guide its evolution? At the Tsawa Foundation, we are opening a space to reflect on this at our upcoming panel discussion, Artificial Intelligence and Humanism, a gathering to explore, from an interdisciplinary perspective, some of the great challenges of our time.
