Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

TSAWA FOUNDATION is the CONTROLLER of the USER’s personal data and informs you that these data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 (LOPDGDD).

Why do we process your personal data and why do we do so?

Depending on the form where we obtained your personal data, we will treat them confidentially for the following purposes:

In the Membership Registration form

  • Manage and process any type of information request, including those aimed at becoming a member. Keep members informed of our activities. Disseminate our activities. (with the data subject’s consent, 6.1.a GDPR)
  • Sending commercial advertising communications by email, fax, SMS, MMS, social media, or any other electronic or physical means, present or future, that enables commercial communications. These communications will be made by the data controller and will be related to its products and services, or those of its collaborators or suppliers, with whom it has entered into a promotional agreement. In the Newsletter form

Sending newsletters, news, offers, and online promotions. (with the consent of the data subject, 6.1.a GDPR)

In the Donations form

To manage and comply with legal obligations arising from the donation you make (for compliance with a legal obligation, 6.1.c GDPR)

When using Social Media:

Linking to Social Media for viewing and participating in publications (with the consent of the data subject, 6.1.a GDPR)
Responding to inquiries or any type of request made by the user (with the consent of the data subject, 6.1.a GDPR)

How long will we retain your personal data?

It will be retained for no longer than necessary to maintain the purpose of the processing or for any legal requirements that dictate its custody. When it is no longer necessary for this purpose, it will be deleted with appropriate security measures to ensure data anonymization or its complete destruction.

To whom do we provide your personal data?

No personal data will be shared with third parties except, if necessary for the development and execution of the processing purposes, to our communications service providers, with whom the CONTROLLER has signed the confidentiality and data processor agreements required by current privacy regulations.

What are your rights?

The USER’s rights are:

  • Right to withdraw consent at any time.
  • Right to access, rectify, transfer, and erase your data, and to restrict or object to its processing.
  • Right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with current regulations.

2.MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER
By checking the corresponding boxes and entering data in the fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the contact form or presented in download forms, USERS expressly, freely, and unequivocally accept that their data is necessary for the provider to fulfill their request. The inclusion of data in the remaining fields is voluntary. The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to the CONTROLLER is accurate and is responsible for communicating any changes to it.

The CONTROLLER informs that all data requested through the website is mandatory, as it is necessary to provide an optimal service to the USER. If not all data is provided, there is no guarantee that the information and services provided will be completely tailored to the user’s needs.

3.SECURITY MEASURES
In accordance with the provisions of current regulations on personal data protection, the CONTROLLER is complying with all provisions of the GDPR and LOPDGDD regulations for the processing of personal data under its responsibility, and manifestly with the principles described in Article 5 of the GDPR, by which they are processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently in relation to the data subject and appropriate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.

The CONTROLLER guarantees that it has implemented appropriate technical and organizational policies to apply the security measures established by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD (Spanish Data Protection Act) to protect the rights and freedoms of USERS and has provided them with the appropriate information so they can exercise them.
